The Picton was pleasureto use and we had lots of fun with it skiing, boogie boarding and fishing untilwe upgraded to larger boat, hence it hasn’t been used for number of yearsbut has been kept covered. It has the original gel coat in white and grey andhas good, sound hull, tinted screen and is fitted with all the remotes forsteering and engine control.  It’s fittedwith an aluminium fold-up boarding ladder and all the stainless steel fittings(bow rails etc) are original and all in good condition. The upholstery isoriginal and is serviceable but showing signs of age, especially the head-restto front seat attachment join.  All theupholstery panels are intact making re-upholstery task much easier should youwish to undertake this. The boat comes with Yamaha steel fuel tank, batterybox (no battery) and sits on two wheel custom made galvanised bunk typeroad/launching trailer.  New wheelbearings (mini type) have recently been fitted to the offside, the nearsideones were ok.  The engine is 60 HPYamaha twin cylinder two stroke with electric start.  Mechanically the engine and drive train arein good condition and has good compression (stored with extra oil in thebores).  However, it needs new ignitionmodule, the original one failed as was about to sell the boat for £1500 acouple of years ago.  was going toconstruct module to use the existing ignition triggers from theflywheel to run two self contained CD modules that have their own integralcoils in the plug cap but it never happened! Three new CD ignition units come with the boat (only needed) and it is fairlysimple task for anyone with little electronics knowledge to construct the module.  The CD units just need +12V supply, ground and 12V trigger pulse.Well, there it is, witha bit of work it will make lovely boat again, the engine, for spares, alonemust be worth at least £400, so happy bidding.  The boat is available for collection only and you would need to bring atrailer board to enable you tow it away. Happy Bidding.
