This boat does require some work and will be as honest as can in giving as much detail and information as possible. To my knowledge, this boat requires some replacement wood work (in some areas) to the exterior around the wheel house and some general TLC such as with rubbing strakes, hand rails and deck etc.The GRP hull looks to be in fair condition but there are few scrapes and scratches here and there as one would expect for 46 year old boat. The underwater area will need re-antifouling and new anodes fitting. The Enfield outdrives and Perkins engines (all can be seen/heard running) will need servicing and checking over thoroughly prior to being put back on the water. notice there is bolt sheared off the Port side outdrive that operates the tilt/trim doesn't look difficult to rectify. This boat has twin diesel fuel tanks and the Starboard side had slight leak so this will need further investigating/rectification although believe you could disconnect and use the other side. The cabin, galley, heads (with sea toilet and shower) and wheel house are in good order for the age of the vessel with minor TLC required. The boat has 240v shore power, 12v Battery charger, Bow thruster, VHF Radio, GPS, Depth sounder, Batteries, Remote search light, Bilge pumps, Fridge, Gas oven with burner hob and grill, Fresh water tanks, Holding tank, Blown air Diesel central heating plus lots more. The sale will include cutlery, crockery etc etc. The boat will need collecting within 4 weeks after the sale is finalised (can negotiate on this if required) and the funds must be paid either by cash or bacs transfer. NO VAT on this sale. These boats are being advertised for around £12,500 £16,500. This is advertised for this price to reflect the work required and quick sale as need the space. This is and will be very nice boat when done and is classic. The boat will need low loader with Hiab for collection and this cost to be borne by the purchaser. can recommend company my father used locally (Lincoln area) that brought the boat to us in 2017.The boats name is Wyverns Rest. would estimate the weight to be tons but not sure.I very much welcome any interested prospective purchaser to come and view the boat prior to finalising sale. Work is required (although not major restoration project) to get this boat back up to safe and acceptable standard. A nice little project for someone with some time and the practical skills to get it afloat.,Please call to discuss further if required.
