1984 Fletcher Arrowbolt 22 Bravo inboard powered by 1987 Mercruiser TRS High Performance racing drive and GM based V8 engine. Borg Warner Velvet Drive gearbox. Sits on wheel braked roller trailer with two geared winch.
Fantastic boat in good condition! Very fast!!
Only used four times on salt water (within last 12 months) since complete refurbishment few years ago which included replacement engine and drive originally supplied to Cigarette Offshore Racing Team (verified by Mercruiser in USA), new upholstery, custom bimini hood with custom frame, expensive German trim tabs, engine blower, air horn, lights, custom boat cover, Garmin Fishfinder 160, aux engine bracket etc. It’s great day boat with big vee birth (7ft birth) and gas cooker and sink. 
New bearings fitted to trailer December 2018 at cost of £300 and trailer has not been immersed in water since (towed 300 miles after bearings replaced).Boat currently situated on racking in Southampton. Independent specialist marine mechanic has been through the boat and verified everything is working fine (included cleaning the carburettor). Starts on the key (as well as any 1980s carb’ed V8 does!) and engine compression is perfect.
This boat is 35 years old but, in my opinion, is in good condition for its age. certainly don’t think there’s another one like it out there. The hull has age related scuffs and marks but there is no damage, no star gazing and the hull doesn’t leak. (There’s refurbished 1978 Arrowbolt 21 with Mercruiser V8 for £19,995 currently advertised on some of the boat sites!!)Link to video below is from July 2018 which was the boat’s first trip out on salt water since refurb.
Bereavement has prompted regrettable sale. I’m not desperate to sell so sensible enquiries only please. I’m not looking to consider part exchange and once the boat is sold and paid for it will have to be taken from current location. Water test available for serious potential buyers. will consider serious enquiries from overseas buyers but the boat would have to be paid for in full by bank transfer and funds cleared before the boat released. Description: A very rare opportunity to own one of the classic sports boats of the eighties. This is one of the last Arrowbolt 22s available, built in the 80s it combines the space of an excellent family boat with the structure and performance of high quality power boat hull. The Arrowbolt 22 is very hard to find and the interior is finished to very high spec. Overall everything is in good used condition and everything works as it should. The Boat has mainly been used it in fresh water plodding along on the local river then Winterised and stored internally over the winters. The Deep hull is in very good condition apart from some minor scratches on the side and marks where the guide poles have rubbed. The top sides are fine but ideally would benefit from respray at some point due to bit of discolouration and residue left from the boat name stickers peeling off. This does not really detract from the appearance unless very close up and please bear in mind this is 33 years old and therefore not new boat. Engine: Mercruiser V8 Petrol rebuilt around five years ago. Recent new Ignition Coil (genuine Mercury) and Impellor. Drives through Borg Warner Velvet Drive gearbox – seamless gear engagement no clunking in and out of gear. Mercruiser TRS heavy duty outdrive with power trim and tilt. Bulletproof outdrive designed for high output engines. Outdrive fitted with 19″ Stainless Cleaver Prop. Very good starter and runs lovely at correct temperature and oil pressure. Fitted with cooling system which incorporates integral flush system so after salt water use simply connect hosepipe, turn two valves and start the engine to run fresh water through the system. Trailer: Heavy Duty Twin Axle SBS Trailer as follows: Adjustable tilting roller system Guide Bars Winch with new winch strap. All Wheel bearings replaced and brakes overhauled 2015.
