This is new custom made all aluminum McKenzie style drift boat. Boat measures 15 ft inches long by 52 inches wide and has custom fishscale design exterior. The bottom exterior features Wetlander shoe coating which helps the boat slip through the water easier. Sides and bottom are 1/8 inch thick and the dry weight is 475 lbs. It has center pull anchor system, and front and rear thigh casting braces. The floor is flat throughout and the interior paint is blended with grit for traction. chose dark color for the interior because in my experience dark colors help reduce eye strain. The boat also includes blow molded coolers used as seat bases with stadium seats- for added comfort on long drift days- and carbon fiber Cataract oars with replaceable blades and brown trout wrapping.

I have over 30  years welding experience building variety of trailers- utility, boat, snowmobile, car haulers, etc- and wanted to try something little different. Boat was started last fall and finished late spring 2019. Other than short trip out to test for water tightness it has not been used and has never been registered.
I have been fishing even longer than have been welder and built this boat with the features would want my own boat to contain. Construction photos available on request.
