The Sea Ray 300 SLX is big open-deck day boat-basically an updated version of the 290 Select EX produced in 2005–08. Built on modified deep-V hull with wide 9'8" beam and solid fiberglass bottom, the interior of the Sea Ray offers entertaining and eating space for small crowd. Two seating plans were available-one with back-to-back (fold-down) companion seat, and another with doublewide helm seat. refreshment center includes wet bar with bottle rack, trash bin, and optional refrigerator, and cockpit and bow tables can be stowed while underway. The sporty burlwood dash is plus, and lockable head/change compartment in the portside helm console comes with freshwater sink and pullout shower. As with most bowriders, removable cushions convert the entire forward seating area into vast sun pad. power engine compartment hatch is standard. Note the swim platform storage lockers. An extended swim platform was popular option.
