Currently kept in indoor storage at Dodson Boatyard, Stonington, Connecticut.     Exceptional Reproduction of the original 26' Herreshoff Alerion.  Built by the Masters atGannon Benjamin in 2005, this fine little yacht was constructed to exacting detail by building to the original MIT Herreshoff archival plans (including the instantly recognizable Herreshoff Sheer Strake).   
The Herreshoff Alerion with its keel/centerboard design is an ideal boat for Nantucket waters capable of navigating the harbor’s shallows all the way to Wauwinet, but at the same time easily capable of thrilling offshore sail on Nantucket Sound.   The Alerion is truly an amazing boat for both the experienced yachtsman or family looking for classic daysailer to enjoy an outing on the water.  When the wind subsides, power is provided by Yanmar 1GM Diesel.  

Boat and trailer are both Titled Registered in Massachusetts.
