Auxiliarypower: Replaced the gasoline powered Atomic-4 engine with 10kilowatt, 48 volt, brushless electric motor with 4, group 27batteries providing up to 87 amp hours of power giving equivalentpower to the internal combustion engine. The electric motor providesinstant, quiet power. This system will push the boat to hull speedfor period of time, but draws less at slower speeds. 3 recharging systems: 1. 2, 24v DC solar panels mounted on thestern rails run through Midnight Solar “The Kid” solar charger.Last season, these kept the batteries charged with no need to plugin. 2. At the dock with 48v, 10 amp 110v, AC charger. This canalso be used with portable generator (not included). 3. You can get some regeneration if you turn the system on while sailing if you are sailing over knots. Replaced the 4smaller, forward port lights (windows) with New Found Metal,Tri-Matrix, opening portlights for better air flow down below.
