17ft Harbour Launch
We are selling our family boat which is 17ft launch powered by 26hp Volvo DM2 inboard diesel engine. It comes complete with single axle trailer that tows dream.Boat -The boat is 17ft long made out of fibreglass. Its got pretty deep sides so is great for smaller kids. there is bench seat at the front and smaller one at the rear. the floor has grey none slip gel coat Finnish, its perfect as you can wash it all down and it comes up like new.
Electrics -The boat is setup with automatic bilge pump which cuts in every couple of minutes to drain any water in the bilge. It also has set of stainless Navigation lights that are flush mounted in the bow. These are controlled from switch panel that's on the rear of the engine cover. there is spare switch for any future electrics that get added.
Engine - The engine is Volvo DM2 which is 26hp. this runs through Volvo gearbox, then shaft drive to the prop. it is electric start and has decent alternator which produces good charge for the battery. the engine starts and runs fine, it pushes the boat to around knots. The fuel tank is located in the bow of the boat and its gravity fed to the engine. It was serviced at the start of the season, including new water pump and housing. other than little smokey on startup the engine runs dream.
Trailer - The boat is sat on single axle trailer, which tows great it has the decent sizes wheels and tyres on it along which hitch which stops it snaking. Of course it also has decent winch and rollers on it too.
Overall the boat is great little river cruiser, we have had many great day out on the Hamble and in the Solent on her.
